Cookie policy.
The Rise and Prime Painting website uses only a few cookies and similar tools, each with one job.
- Every visitor sees a short notice the first time, with Opt out as easy as Accept
- In California, Canada, the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets no cookies and Clarity stays off until you press Accept all
- No advertising cookies
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between one page and the next. Similar tools do the same job another way, such as your browser's local storage and session storage. Where this page says cookies, it covers those too.
Strictly necessary
Cloudflare Turnstile protects the quote form and the job application from automated spam. It loads on the pages that carry one of those forms, as the form comes into view, and it isn't optional, because without it the forms fill with junk and a real request gets buried. It is a security check, not advertising or tracking. Cloudflare handles what it sees under its own terms.
Session storage holds three short notes that vanish when you close the tab: where your visit started (the first page, the site that sent you and any campaign tags), a one-time note that lets the thank-you page record that a form was sent, and whether you closed the review pop-up. None of them is sent anywhere unless you send a form.
Analytics
Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, counts visits and quote requests. It sets cookies beginning _ga so it can tell one visit from the next. Tag Manager is only the container that loads it. Google's advertising features are switched off, and no advertising tags run on this site.
This runs under Google Consent Mode, set by place. If you are in California, Canada, the UK, the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland, analytics starts denied and stays cookieless until you press Accept all. Everywhere else it starts allowed, the notice says so, and Opt out stops its cookies.
Session replays and heatmaps
Microsoft Clarity shows us heatmaps, how far down a page people scroll and replays of how a visit moved through the site, so we can see which parts of a page help and which get in the way. What you type into a form is masked, so it doesn't appear in a replay. Microsoft handles what it collects under its own terms.
If you are in California, Canada, the UK, the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland, or the site can't tell where you are, Clarity doesn't load at all until you press Accept all, and if you choose Reject all it never runs. Everywhere else it loads on your first page with its own cookies switched off, and the notice tells you it's running. Whenever Clarity loads, it may set a Microsoft cookie called MUID, on clarity.ms and bing.com, that lasts about a year. Press Opt out and the site tells Clarity to stop, and it doesn't load again on this device. Press Accept all, anywhere, and Clarity may also set its own cookies to connect your visits.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as Opt out and doesn't show the notice.
To decide whether to ask, the site checks which region your visit comes from. Only a yes or no comes back, and nothing about your location is stored. That answer and your choice are kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, under the names rp_geo_ask_v1 (for 30 days) and rp_consent_v1, and clearing your site data removes both.
How to change your choices
You can change your answer on this site at any time, wherever you are, from the "Your Privacy Choices" link at the bottom of every page or right here.
Your browser holds a second off switch. Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all let you block cookies, delete the ones already stored, or warn you before one is set. You'll usually find it under privacy or site data.
Turn on Global Privacy Control in a browser or extension that supports it, and this site treats it as Opt out: Google Analytics stops setting cookies and Clarity doesn't load. For Google Analytics, Google publishes an opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking cookies won't break the site: the pages, the forms and the phone links all keep working.

When this page changes
We update this policy in the same change as the tracking code it describes, so the two always match. The date at the top moves when that happens.
