Prices and the cost calculator are estimates, not a quote
The painting cost calculator gives a ballpark. We haven't seen your house, and there are too many field conditions in painting for a form to produce a price you could hold us to. The same goes for any price, range or "starting at" figure on this website: it's general information about what projects like yours tend to cost.
Where the calculator can't responsibly guess, such as wood rot or major repairs, it says an inspection is required instead of showing a number. The real price comes after we've seen the job. For most residential projects, that's a detailed written estimate on the spot at the walkthrough, and once the proposal is written, the price is fixed for the agreed scope of work. Anything outside that scope is a change order or add-on.
General information only
The guides, tips and answers on this site are general information about painting. They can't account for your surfaces, your climate, what's already on your walls or the condition under the paint. Read them as a starting point, then let us look at the job before relying on them for yours.
Photos and reviews
Photos on this site show what finished painting can look like. Your result depends on your surfaces, the products used and the conditions on the day, so a photo isn't a promise of how your project will turn out.
Customer reviews are the customers' own words, taken from Google. What one customer experienced is not a forecast of what you will.
About the warranty
The 3-Year Workmanship Warranty applies to qualifying painting projects and starts on completion of the project. It covers failures caused by workmanship on surfaces we prepared and painted, such as premature peeling, blistering or flaking from improper application.
It doesn't cover water intrusion, structural movement, substrate failure, existing coatings failing underneath, mold or mildew, substrate rust, wear and tear, impact, abuse, repairs by someone else, moisture failures, wood rot, caulk movement from building movement, or product defects. Stain, epoxy and other floor coatings are not part of it.
Not professional advice
Nothing here is legal, engineering, safety or building-code advice. If your project involves structural damage, a suspected hazard in an older home, or rules set by your homeowners association or your city, talk to someone qualified to advise you on it.

This page does not govern a job
A painting job runs on its written proposal. If anything on this website looks like it says something different, the proposal wins. Questions go to Ray on (443) 743-8052, by call or text. See also the terms of use and the privacy policy.
